Just noticed this on my ansorgii's head, is this a wound? Could have hit his head on the bracing

Yes looks like he could have scrapped it on the wood or decor, they have great burst speed.

Thanks. I changed my substrate from black and white sand to red gravel to see if the ansorgii and lapradei will color up, so they were a bit jumpy yesterday and today. Will probably wait a day or so. If there's no sign of healing up, will probably medicate entire tank for melafix.

just add stress coat to the tank and change the water. works like a charm

just a tiny scrape at the wood decor when it freaked out or something. It'll heal in no time.
