Thanx for the ID. I was pritty sure it was ornate but wanted to be positive. wish I could have 3 dont think my tank is big enough for that. Do they live well with other bichirs? Or do you need to keep them with their own? Was just curious, for future reference.

Yeah definitely an ornate.
They do ok with other bichirs. Ornates are generally reclusive and hide most of the time. You may have problems if your ornate doesn't take kindly to visitors in his hideout.

He does hide alot him and my ck like the same spot to hide they share nicely. I dont think i will get another ornate I would hate to disrupt the balance everyone gets along great.
