Anyone know if this is the start of separation? It's not directly into the seam but at the out line of the seam (if that makes sense). It almost appears as the chemical glue used to piece the acrylic panels has turned opaque. Could it be just that? I'm worried it's separation or the start of it.. the inner seam itself looks healthy with no visible separation or crazing. The area of concern is outlined between the red. The tank is an acrylic 180g 6x2x2. Any help is greatly appreciated! IMG_9010.jpegIMG_9012.jpeg

Hmmm need some better pictures from the backside but it looks like that would be obscured by the background.

I cant tell if its separating or if thats just a bit of sloppy solvent work around the seam. Sometimes you will see some crazing around an area thats beginning to separate ime. Have you had this tank awhile? Noticed this getting worse or is this the first notice?

wednesday13 wednesday13 can probably say for sure. If it is separating it looks like a manageable repair imo.

Gotta get a pic from the front of the seam as Lepisosteus Lepisosteus also states. Right now it just looks like glue or solvent residue… the seam itself should be crystal clear.

Here's a front view of the seam. The more I look at it, it seems more just like an opaque color solvent or glue residue.

Is your side panel not in the inside of the front and back panels? If so the seam looks good as that would be the “front” of it..Thats def. pretty odd it was made like that tho. Don’t think ive ever seen an acrylic tank put together that way.
