Is this all I need for a CO2 system?

I'd go ahead and go with a system which uses the normal CO2 canisters... like you use on a kegerator. They're really cheap to fill and they last a long time (I've run one on a 125 for six months and still have plenty...) This is the system I have, and I like it: http://www.aquatichouse.com/plants_files/co2prosystem.asp.

So all I would need would to buy is a CO2 tank? How long do you think I could get a 20oz bottle to last? Also, would 4 bubbles per second be a good count for a 55?

Honestly, I have no idea! What's a 20 oz bottle? I think that's like the paintball sized bottle? The ones I'm talking about are much larger. Also, I have a drop-checker, so I don't measure bubbles-per-minute, but instead, gauge CO2 dissolved into the tank... sorry I'm no help there!

Haha that's an awesome profession! In any case, the one I'm talking about, because I've been drinking beer (semi-professionally!) for a while now, is about a foot tall, maybe a little larger, and about eight or nine inches in diameter? I'm just looking at the one in my living room, so these are totally estimates. And, the drop checker gauges CO2 at low, spot-on, and too high. So, to keep it spot-on most days (some days we forget to turn it on!) the canister is still going strong. I think we pay eleven bucks or something to fill it... for your canister, which sounds like it's about a third of the size, it would be much cheaper; you'd just have to fill it more. Maybe once a year, for that size tank? I don't know!
