The tank hangs off a little. Well just a piece of the bottem piece. It's not where the water goes

Is that a Peice of glass under the tank? If so its fine but id be worried about the glass shattering.

To me it looks perfectly fine and shouldnt make any difference on the integrity of the tank at all. Go for it!

There was this add on some local classifieds here where they were selling some "perfect mint condition" do aqua rimless tanks for a nice price. But when I got there, they had much deeper chips on the side corners and bottom glass... Wasted my time, but somebody else bought them pretty quick... lol.

Looks like it will be fine to me. I would center it so the same amount hangs off each side of the stand, if you haven't already.

As long as the sides are over the stand and are supported you should be fine, that looks like it's just decorative edging.
