Is this an endlicheri?

Hi guys im considering buying two of these polys to go with my ornates,could you please id them,they are listed in the lfs as endlicheri,is this correct and if so what is the usual max size in captivity,ive looked on the primer and it says 32" is this max in the wild though as i dont want to buy fish that are going to get too big,and will they grow at roughly the same rate as the ornates,getting the same food etc in the same tank.by the way they are about 4.5" long and £20.

Most of the huge endlis on this site are in the 20-24inch range it seems.

I don't think anyone has posted a 30 inch endli.

yup it is. 18"-24" typically in captivity.

They do grow about the same speed as ornates if not faster.they do get big so i bigger tank might be required in the long run.these are great species,little less active then most but worth buying IMO.they eat they same as all,prawns,chicken heart,fish filets,carnivore pellets,nightcrawlers,feeders,the list goes on.
GL with them if you go through with that buy.
