Is This an Overstock?

I'm planning out a 180 gallon tank, so I want your guys's opinions as to if this is a bit of a tank overstock, or if these fish are incompatible.

1-3 Chocolate Cichlids
1-3 Red Spot Severums
1 Redheaded severum
1 Lima Shovelnose catfish
1 Florida Gar
1 Ghost kinfe
1 Tiger Oscar

Not to sure about this, suggestions, recommendations, or adjustments anyone?

depends if all baby might and just might work for awhile as adults I would say no it would overcrowd if they were all adults.

Other than the shovelnose the tank will be somewhat overstocked, overfiltration and a more fierce water change schedule should remedy that, however.

What if I took away the Oscar and some of the cichlids, would that work better? If not what should I take away?

I would highly advise against the Gar in that setup. Gars neither mix well with Cichlids or Knives.

That will help, maybe keep the cichlids at 2 at most. And the gar will likely outgrow the tank, I've seen huge Florida gars at public aquariums.

Ya florida gars are going ton cause disaster with the other fish and they get huge.
