Is this ansorgii wc?

Got a 15-16" ansorgii from a hobbyist today. Was told it was wc. I dont really have pics of the captive hybrids at this size to compare.
There's a wound on his head from catching it.

It looks like a possible hybrid. Would have to wait til it settles in completely. But here is a photo of my 14.5"-15" AnsorgiixEndli hybrid.

To the right of my hybrid is a WC Ansorgii

in the second pic, you could see that there is a pinkish area above the anal fin. is this normal for male bichirs when they're starting to 'cup' or is this a sign of trouble?
