i am thinking of purchasing the following to stock my 125, but i cant find anything saying if they would kill eachother or stress eachother out or not.
1 pair angelfish
1 bgk
3 half line hemidonous(i dont know how to spell it)
5 or 7 silver dollars

plus my ornate pim.
im am worried about the bgk attacking the angels and silver dollars at night. would this be an issue?
 
I kept BGK with silver dollars for a long time an never had an issue. Just make sure your BGK has as cave. The BGK should be tiny when you get an make sure all the other fish all larger than it. Cause they can grow fast if you feed them pellets. I dont think there will be a problem. Dont know anything bout half line hemidonous. Good luck
 
half lines are like little leoporinus from what ive heard, but i like the look of them better and they are smaller(only 7-8 inches). so do you think the bgk would nip the fin extensions off the angels and the whiskers on my pim?

That could count as tiny, but it depends on how big the other fish are..
 
You have to remember it does not come down to particular species. It really comes down to particular fish as to whether or not they will accept each other. A lot in this hobby is trail and error.
 
ok sweet. ive only had clown knifes and they get really nippy. the other fish are all going to be bought at around 3-4 inches, other than the angels which will be around 2-3 as growouts.
 
bgk are usually only aggressive to another bgk
