Found a good deal for a 1 inch++ baby kamfa. Im wondering what potential this kamfa has at this age/size. I've been told by the seller he's an f2 kamfa

So far i like the look of him even at this stage. I like Flowerhorns/kamfas that have nice pearls and intricate details in the colour pattern of their scales. Especially ones that have a colour pattern (pearls ?) all around their heads.

Nuchal hump size doesn't matter much to me as long as their colours pop. Although a good nuchal hump won't hurt neither.

And btw the pics don't do much justice. It was screenshotted from a video. Couldn't upload it because of the video file. But if more input is needed perhaps i can convert the file to make it easier to judge the kamfa (preferebly not)

If it's a good deal & you like the FH, go for it.
Definitely nice spangles & has a lot of color potential.
Give it a good home, good nutrition and see where it goes.

Omega One large grain floating Cichlid pellets, or the New Life Spectrum pellets.

Which particular NLS pellets are best ?
And does the Hikari brand offer any good pellets for kamfas. Hikari is less costly in my country, but paying extra for A superior NLS pellet can be somewhat worth it aswell

IMO, New Life Spectrum products are better quality than Hikari, but there is nothing wrong about feeding Hikari pellets.
NLS make several varieties of Cichlid pellets. All would be fine for your FH.
