got this from pet co its the green sand stuff on the bottom is this bad for brackish water and mudskippers

If it's made for aquariums, it should be fine. Does the sand come off?

it should be ok. if your not sure leave it in SW for a week and see if colour runs. some decorations arent designed for use in SW. leaving it in SW will exagerate any effects. so you should be able to detect them.

if your still not sure get shut of it. i like the fake plants that have peagravel and resin as a base. they behaved in my tank too. i had no problems, even when i was pushing marine (1.020sg). theyre a bit more expensive than other plants but they look really good. and are also safe for SW use.
