The fish is otherwise healthy, active, eating, etc. pH is 7.4, NH4 0ppm, NO2 0ppm, and NO3 40ppm. I'm thinking constipation?

I feed Northfin Carnivore, Orijen Six Fish, and occasionally frozen smelt and prawn. They also take Northfin Tropical Sticks from the surface when I feed the cichlids. No aggression between the cichlids and polys.

Not yet. Any small rocks in the tank? I’d add some epsom salt and make sure it passes or atleast attempt.

There's probably one or two small pumice rocks that made their way out of filters during maintenance, but otherwise no.

Bump.

I'm guessing the fish has not always had that....As Dr. Kno4te mentioned, please try the Epsom salt. It looks like it might be an obstruction. Has it been able to poop at all?
