Is this cause for worry? New ray.

Just got a new pair of rays and noticed something on the male.
I don't exactly know what this is. I believe it may be a bite from the other ray that was in the bag during shipping

It looks somewhat like a scratch or abrasion. I was wondering if there are any precautions I need to take to make sure it doesn't get infected?

that whitish blotch over the one spot?
i would normally say add some salt but ray are sensitive so keep a really close watch over him. GL

I'm trying to get some better pics. It's the white blotch but it looks a lot pinker almost red from different angles. Like a scratch a person would get from falling on cement.

just make sure you have a good water parameters for it not to get infected.
