Is this considered death curl?

My three months old motoro is acting really weird since yesterday. He flips his tail upward and some parts of the disc beside the tail are, i think, curling up. He doesn't do this everytime, but it keeps me nervous.

I already did two 40% wc, one yesterday and one today. I admit that I am too busy doing school works and haven't tested my water params. Are the descriptions stated above considered as death curl? I don't want to lose him..

Keep up on those water changes. Keep the lights very dim and offer very good foods. Get the water tested if you can.

Two 50 percent water changes a day if you can manage it.

He's doing fine right now. I hope it does not come back. I'll do 50% wc everyday for a week as Bella advised. Thanks!

if he has beening doing it for a few days, I doubt its death curl. and pics will confirm that.
