I've posted pics in the Cold water disease area, but I'm going to move on under the educated assumption that I am dealing with Costia. First off, how do I treat it? I've read multiple conflicting reports saying do/don't increase water temp, salt helps/doesn't, various recommendations for medications, etc. I've had issues for 5 days. The first day I brought fish home that I captured at a local lake. They had gold flecks around the dorsal and tail fins. I posted asking what they were and received mixed answers. the next day they were progressed into the pictures below. I salt bathed the fish before introducing them to my tank (note to stupid self: QUARANTINE!!!!!!!). Two days ago I applied Methylene Blue dips to the fish. They are in the same condition, having neither recovered any nor regressed. I need some advice from someone who has dealt with it before to tell me what's next. Thanks all!
