Is this datnoid disease?

Hey guys,

my indo looks to have some kind of growth on the right side near his gills, i think it may be datnoid disease or it burned itself on the heater

does this look familiar? is it datnoid disease?

i added salt and raised temp to 85




water parameters good, healthy appetite, eats massivore, poops normally

Datnoid disease looks like a pimple. Yours looks like a burn or scrape. Maybe one of its tankmates took a bite out of it?

thanks guys, yeah, definitely not a pimple, but ive never seen a fish burn itself on a heater before

eats healthy otherwise, and acting normal

Good to hear man. Some of my smaller ITs last year had similar "damage" to this and with good water quality and time they looked normal again.

Looks like a wound to me silverlude, thanks for posting the datnoides disease. Now that I recollect, I now understand what I lose my datnoide to. Hope the gills portion recover soon.
