Is this easy to reapair?

Hello,

My laptop's screen has started going very dark, as if I had turned the brightness down very low, but not turned off when the computer goes into power save. Closing down the lid so that the laptop goes to sleep, and opening it up again makes the screen go back to normal. I hope that it is just the graphics card driver, but I think that I may be just out of warrenty.

Any advice will be welcomed. I have just backed up my laptop so I could reload just windows to see if it is the driver.

you can always do a driver update .. but my motto with computers is always

format re install .. fixes all problems .. but thats because i have been a IT guy for 10 years ...

Thank you. I will look fr some up to date drivers, then re-build if it does not work.
