The auction had ended but I assume this is one of the 1.5 gallon kits of Max ACR?

Is this for a plywood tank? And what are the dimensions of your tank? Will it have one window only and how much space will the window(s) take up?

Assuming it's a plywood tank and assuming the plywood is slightly rough or porous, I would suggest shooting for around 25 mils dry film thickness for an epoxy sealed tank. That assumes no fiberglass and no thickened epoxy to fillet the interior corners.

So with all that said, 1.5 gallons of 100% solids epoxy like Max ACR will coat 96 square feet to a dry film thickness of 25 mils.

Since a 180 will be nowhere near 96 square feet of interior space, especially if you have a window, 1.5 gallons will be more than enough for your tank. You'll even have enough leftover to fillet the corners and to lay down some fiberglass if you want.
