Would connecting 3 of these lock and lock containers http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&SKU=16183709&RN=204& together along the top of a 55g tank behind the lights filled with different media be an effecient and effective filtration system? For the record my tank is currently being filtered an ehiem 2224, and aqua clear rated for 40g or 50g, and an aqua rio 1400 pump. the aqua rio is new so figure I can use to pump the water to the containers. Also has any one used perlite as a filter media?
