got this guy from petshop yesterday, they dont know what strain it is, all they is this guy is FH..


in my guess this one is kamalau or a ZZ Malau... i am right?

I believe this is not a flowerhorn. At least very less flowerhorn gene.
 
Yeah, maybe a crossbreed coz he has a flowerline could be one of his parent is FH.. As of now his about 1inch.
 
looks like Red Texas juvie....... Looks like it will have very nice pearling and maybe will fade....can start to see the red on gill plate and (it will get more redness to it).....and notice that defined line above its eye....that is the edge of a big plate pearl that will go over the head.

I WOULD KEEP THIS FISH and grow it to its fullest potential!!!!!

Looks to be a Kamfa...with heavy texas gene. The pearls is a little odd to really say its a RT. Only time will tell, nice piece. Keep us updated will ya? :D
