Is this fin rot.

My dragon hm Betta had this black coloration around its fins since I bought it. I though it was normal and his fins were "feathering" from the hm gene morph. But I'm not sure. The first pic is what I thought it was (not mine) the rest are mine. It is in the same tank as another male and a female. They are all divided but same tank water, and they look fine.

it does not look like fin rot to me..keep an eye on it and keep your water extra clean just in case.
if the fin starts falling off in chunks or receding than yes it is ..but keep up with extra water changes and just see what happens no point in treating it unless it really is fin rot...and a good clean water will prevent it from happening in the first place.
