i left a 10gal in my garage..... with 4" of water in it. :wall::duh:

there is now a single crack stretching from 4" high on the back wall to the top of the back wall, going diagonal.there is a plastic frame on the top of the tank as is with all 10gals. my question is, can i still keep water in the whole tank or is the tank no good now? can i fix it somehow?

10 gallon aquariums are so cheap, it's not worth fixing!

Remove the top frame and cut down the front, back and side panels until it's below the level of the break, then you could have a lovely 4" tall tank.

Srsly just throw it away.

I wouldn't use it.. just buy a new one!

a 10g tank junk it and get a new one
