Identifying geos is not my strong point so don't take my word for it.Maybe some of the Geo fanatics will chime in.I looked up geophagus dicrozoster and I think it might be that, I thought it was too good to be true that it was surinamensis but still a nice species and will have to get a group of them now

I can't see a black mark in the gill plate on the other pics. Is there a black stripe on the gill cover?
It won't be Dicrozoster then, nor winemilleri or brachyraphys. There isn’t a black mark over the hill plate that is noticeable
Rapps has some F1 treu Surinamensis in stock.+1 on above.
They are a very rare fish in the hobby. I did hear a few were about in Europe recently but I would expect them to be rather pricey.
The first pic shows a y bar and a black gill mark.
This is normally indicative of Dicrozoster.
10" would be on the high side for Abalios, you'll more than likely fall between the 5-10" and end up with them around 7 or 8" at full grown, if you give them a well varied diet and consistent clean water, you shouldn't have any issues with them.If it was abalios how big would it get and what’s there temperament, there are very different max sizes on google. Some saying 10” and some saying 5”.
