nice! how big was it at 3inches? my lil 3inch midas is growing hes nuchal hump hoping it gets big like yours! got mine from rapps so hoping it is!

I ws not in posession of the fish at that size. It has a hump like none I have evere seen in these here parts.......it is around one foot, presently.

Looks like they want mates. I've read that they develope humps during breed and when they want to.

they either want mates or are establishing their dominnace. Since I only keep males together, several big ones, this is it, in my case.

really could be for mine hes dug up this big hole and last night he was doing what looked like fertilizing none existing eggs on the skull heres a pic of what hes duug up
