Well i finally got both my rays to eat different foods. They both now eat crawlers, massivore pellets and raw/frozen then thawed talipa. And once in a while raw shrimp. Is this balanced and good enough for them. And what other fish can i feed them that is maybe a little cheaper on the pocket.I bought the talipa fresh from the seafood deli.

That is pretty adequate. Everyone has their own opinions on ray diet, but from my experience mixing those up into the diet will be sufficient.

my one ray was already on pellets when i got her and the other one just started to actually like and take them regularly.I would just not feed him for like a day then trow a pellet in there to get him to eat it.Did this every week or so. and now they both eat them.

Everyolne will tell you different but similar to your diet. If you can give it pellets thats a 10 point bonus. I cant get any of my rays on pellets. In my freezer i have a variety of food -swai, tilapia, shrimp, squid, bluefish, and searobin. But i really just feed whatever i see on top of my freezer. i dont switch off every day. but generally its like 2 days shrimp, 3 days swai, 1 day if not once a month tilapia, and same goes for bluefish and searobin.

Planning on getting a ray very soon. The rays been eating chopped up tilapia. Is that a staple diet motoros eat? Thinking about trying pellets, shrimp and tilapia and occasional earth worms. I don't trust raw shrimps since they may contain something is cooked frozen shrimp fine from like walmart?
