is this good growth rate for a dempsey?

he was about 1.5-2 inches when I got him December 1st, ive been feeding him good and doing weekly w.c in my 125 , he is now 5 inches. my only concern is that when I did w.c I did about 6 50% w.c(over a few week span) and way overdosed with prime, I put about enough for 300 gals on some occasions, since then I have been dosing exact but should I be concerned at all?

I don't know about the whole female thing but do you know anyone who is notorious for overpriming yet has raised big healthy fish?

any water conditioner i use, i over-dose, whether its aqua-safe, prime, start right, never have had a problem yet.

that was harsh and not called for, one i was doing a water change, have sand so it mixes up during water changes, two, i was dividing the sand from the natural pebbles... and i only use whats natural, no fake plants or decor.. ( besides the angel cones.. ) and three, yes you can over-dose to a point on prime............
