Hey guys


Looking at getting a flowerhorn for my tank.

I swapped black background for blue as i have read it is good for flowerhorns colours


The tank is 48 x 24 x 18 so i hope this is big enough

Is the substrate okay?

Go for it brother, looks like you got an awesome set up for it, 48"x24", that's 125g right? That's plenty of room. I personally like Kirin parrots like chrisplosion has (check out his breeding pair) then most flower horns you see, but if you find a stunner, that's a perfect tank for them.

its not a 125, its 48 x 24 x 18 so yeah not sure of the size but nice and tall

not much available in australia, but we are getting better!

probably closer to a 90gal. tank looks good and ready for a flowerhorn and permanently if you decide to keep 1 or a mating pair in.
