Is this guy worth keeping/growing out?

I thought he looked cool so I kinda impulse bought him.

What do you guys think? Is he worth keeping?

We cant make that decision for you.
It depends on what your looking for in a FH. Dont expect this fish to grow up to win any competitions, But its also not the ultra low-grade ZZ's that LFS's seem to like to sell here in the US.
If you arnt happy with the fish, sell it. Its as simple as that. I dont know what else to tell ya. There is a good chance it may be a lady as well.

Id keep it. Its still really small and by the looks of the pics in the specimen container its probably stressed out so you really can't tell its potential right now. Id just be happy to have found something other than a red dragon in the US.
 
I will give it a month or two. Kok is already starting to form.. I just really liked his pearls. I had to keep him in teh container, my dat beat it up pretty bad when I first put him in the tank.

He is only 2.5".
 
Keep it as long as you can. Give it good food and clean water and see what happens. Sometimes it's fun to be surprised.
 
I'd say definately worth keeping for a bit to see how it develops.

I am also with FIshingOut in that it's got that female body shape to my eye.
 
I don't know about you guys, but this fish has great potential. The only thing I wouldn't expect is the kok itself...
