I have 6" aro that use to feed on shrimp only but now he loves Tetra color bits. How healthy is this stuff for an aro. Ive tried Hikari Gold pellets but it will not take it.

What's wrong with market shrimps?
When i first got him that all i fed him was shrimp. I feed my Flagtail the colorbits and he bagan to eat it too a couple weeks ago. Now he loves it.jlnguyen74;2888623; said:You really want to enhance its color, don't you?

Tig only eats shrimp right now. he beginning to eat a lot now. Im going to try fish fillets soon. The Dat is being a punk will not take any food right now.jlnguyen74;2888658; said:Lemme help you! i think it is very healthy and as he grows introduce other foods so his diet will be varied.. and as he grows maybe introduce arow pellets..
I feed color bits and carrots to my worms/crickets for a couple days before they get fed to my aro. You;'re lucky your aro eats them straight from the can.
I wouldn't lean on it as a staple but I do think its good for them. My old rays loved color bits believe it or not. I feed it to my minnows while in quarantine before I feed them to my fish. No problems at all.
