Is This Heater Burn?

I started to notice them about a week or two ago. It seems to be healing quite slow.

Definitely looks like it. You could add a little salt to help it heal quicker/better and bump the temp up to 82

The burns are on both the scales, tail fin, and anal fin. The tail fin took the worst burns, there were two actual bumps.
Does fish get this by staying too close to the heater for too long...??

i dont think aros would get heater burns as they dont stay still long enough to get burned like other fish who sit near the heater for a long time

i would look at other fish in the tank to see if they are fighting or the aro could be tail biting

I thought it was heater burn because it looked too clean of a line to be a bite

Definetly an odd looking injury. Heater burn would be a wider mark, plus can't see an aro sitting long enough to get a burn.

What are the tankmates ? I'm not seeing heater burn here.

No tank mates. Just two pieces of driftwood with java ferns attached to them. It does like to stay by the heater and filter for a long time when its scared.
It could be the filter.
