Could be in that area, hard to tell with those pics. With the white on it looks like an injury with fungal or bacterial infection. Get some better pics. Either way, start bigger water changes, test your water and add some salt.

doesnt look like it to me, hith is round pitted holes? prob just an injury but as bass guy said... remember oscars are one of the harder fish to keep due to this condition, keep up those changes they need crystal clear water..... good luck

i understand it as more of a deep scar it can be halted but may never heal completely if at all...

It is hard to tell, HITH can be round or wormy in appearance.
Oscars seem to be very prone to it if not given very clean, low nitrate water. So just in case, if I were you, I'd increase frequency of water changes, and the amount changed. And at the same time rinse your mechanical media at each water change.

He just recently had a fungus from a bad feeder (yesterday) but it was small patches of white on his side and it just dissapeared within like 2 hours... But i noticed the one hole type thing in his head before he even got feeders and there are NO tankmates... Could he have busted it on like the side or something???

It's possible that he hit his head on a filter intake or tank rim or something of the sort so just keep watching him to see how the healing goes. But I'd recommend that you stop feeding live feeders immediately because of the parasites they carry. Get a good steady pellet like NLS or Hikari Bio-gold as a staple and go from there. And like Duanes said, water changes...weekly 50% is a good place to start. My Oscar had HITH starting and I removed all carbon, increased water changes and started feeding strictly the above mentioned foods and now she's as healthy as they get. Good luck.
