I would like to know what type of texas this would be. I know its a female due to the fact that she an my FH have paired an had two sets of fry.:nilly:

Nice looking fish but it's not a pure texas. I agree.

Yeah looks like a female carpintis crossed with something that has stripes. Those stress bars are unnatural to tex. I really doubt xVieja. Id guess xconvict.

I doubt it, most of the 90% of all TexCon hybrids ive seen looked like a dull convict with a few speckles.

Thats what I thought at first, but this could fall into the 10%tile. Tex X Con's can turn in BEASTS. Ex: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUm7hNpWzjo
Through the process of elimination there is not too much a tex could successfully breed with to create these bars in offspring. This narrows it down to Probably convict. More unlikely Bared Midas. Even more unlikly a Festae.
Might even be full Carpintis just a rarer one, bc i dont see too much off from the tex body shape. The stress bars and pearls throw me off though.
