My pbass is having these spots on him for almost a week now. There is another pbass in the tank, but he looks fine. All my other smaller fish looks fine too. Both fish still behave quite normally, and still have a very strong appetite for goldfish. Right now I think it is ick. I tried adding 1ml of quICK cure for 24hrs with no luck. Today I will increase the dosage to 2ml, and see what happens. No fish have died so far. Both fish are about 3 inch long in a 29 gallon with 82F, and they're both dominating the tank right now.
This is the medication I use for them: http://www.aq-products.com/APpro/quickcure.htm

:iagree: ... either that put coppersafe.......

Well, 2ml of quICK cure a day with 15% water change for 3 days now, and the spots are pretty much gone. I will do it one more day to make sure, but this stuff works!

That would definatly be ich...something most Pbass and ALL tems seem to be prone to. Scrap the chemicals however and go with the temp/salt recomendations. It's safe..quick..and effective.

lookin better...;) glad you got him healthier... no need for any more chemicals... they are very sensitive towards it.... all it needs now is a lil bit of aquaria salt & temp up to 85+... and notices you had a koi in there also.. watch out... cuz hes goin to be food soon!! ne-ways good luck & and best wishes:)

try to get them of feeders as well to giving them goldies that are diseased and no nutrients wont help much

You need to keep that temp up for a week or so now. The ich you saw on him naturally falls off.

I agree.. I keep my temp that high at all times just cause I don't feel like dealing with Ich. lol.
