This is the first time if ever have anything like this happen. Just saw it a couple of hours ago and I don't really know what to do. Is it itch or some other type of disease? What do I do to cure it? Its currently in my 10G QT tank. HELP PLEASE.

Its only on the top fin as well as its surrounding area as the photos show. It does sound like a bacterial infection. I will try a 30% WC tonight and add some melafix to it and see what happens. I was also advise do do 25% WC every 3-4 days which I will also try.
Is adding table salt (iodized) advisable as well?
