Is this legit? "Malaysian" Aro; Ebay

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
idk... doubt it though :(

Would be cool to start keeping asians in my tank, would have to sell everything and buy a couple.

Regretfully, they're still illegal in the US. It doesn't matter that CITES approved limited sales. The US Endangered Species Act prohibits the sale and possession of all asian aros in the US and its territories.

No asain arow is legal in the us unless its for research or something.

not quite. it is illegal to import into the us.
fish in the us may be kept by zoos or research facilities w/ federal permits... ie rescued fish from fish busts.........or

preban fish are ok....

to the best of my knowledge

Yeah, thats what I think. I always wondered how the public aquariums had asians and it is probably from fish busts. I would love to have an asian aro, and these are tempting, but what if you got popped? The fines could be outrageous, like $10,000 a pop or something (I don't know- I just know I can't afford to pay a lot of money for a fish AND THEN not get the fish AND THEN pay more money in fines). Not my cup of tea.

I'm gettin a Jardini and tattooing it all red (J/K)

The title of the bid says Malaysian Silver Aro. There is no such thing. Prices seems incredibly low for anything of quality, even more so if it's a pair. I do not think the pic posted represents what is actually for sale.
