Is this light good enough for a reef tank?

if I am reading that right it has 1 55 watt bulb if so that is way too little light even for softies...
 
Yeah, if it's only 1 bulb @ 55 watts, your way under lit. I would try to get around 400 Watts for an 80 gallon. Softies need a lot less light than SPS and even some LPS. I have 72 watts on a 29 gallon and that seems to be working great for my zoos and even the LPS. I am not seeing much growth on the 2 monti frags I have, but they are still healthy. I guess it's just not enough light for them to flourish. So it really depends on what you want to keep. Either way, 55 watts is barely enough for a FOWLR tank but definately not enough for any reef tank.
