Hi i currently have a tyre track eel, a red tail shard, and a brown african knifefish sharing an aquarium my daughter had 2 gourimi in there but they recently died after they were pooping these really long white strings and then there bellys would bloat way up and a few days they died . Was told by the PETCO that it was a parasite and i should treat my tank.. But the guy wasnt sure what medication was safe for eels i know no Malachite blue or copper based medications
I Purchased some Tank Buddies Parasite Clear tablets but will not use them till i know for sure if they wont kill my eel
the medication active ingrediants are nitrofurazone, furazolidone, potassium dichromate.
would this be safe or shall i just trash it and try aquarium salt
