I have read a thread about these spots, just in that thread they were white. Do i have something to be concerned about? She lives with 3x Sp peru and 1x Yepezi. Change 50-60% 2 times a week. Readings Amonia and nitrit - zero. Ph 7,5 and nitrate 25mg\l.. They live in 180g growout with 2x Fx5.

Good to hear! Ive read somewhere on here that those kinda things could have something to do with chloriamine in water, and i do change water straight from the tap. I have done this nearly 17 years without any damage on any fish ive had..I did buy a chloramine tester, but to calibrate it i needed a drop test kit, stupid thing!

If you use city supplied water all you have to do is call them and they will tell you if they add chloramine.
