Hey Everyone,

I recently added silver dollars to the tank yesterday. These little one inchers came out of the bag and were eating already. I've been noticing one of the six silvers not really participating in their schooling constantly drives around the left side of the tank behind the over flow. Guessing he is still not adjusted? I have clown loaches in the tank as well, so I'm worried if the silver is streesed he might bring about ick on himself and soon after infect the others.

However I'm trying not to be to concern because this is still only it's second day...any ideas? I want to to add some medicine t the tank like salt and such however I'm still having problems finding out what is safe for the clown loaches.

Thanks

I just added a heap of young SD's the other week and two did this for the first few days

Ok great, he comes and goes with the school. I will be posting up a video now in the general aquaria...just to show how the tank looks.

Agreed with all the above. I think it just takes some longer to realize they're supposed to swim together lol.

Lol probably, they still get startled when approaching the tank, the clown loaches are adjusting better but they have been in thier longer. I recently put a video up titled "72 gallon bowfront grow out" has a video of the tank...they are all together in the video which is great!

I do notice something about the silvers. 4 of them have light faded blacks spots...the biggest one of the group has very few and very light faded spots. I'm hopping that this will fade away eventually...because different species of silver's dont usually school together.
