Is this normal? (see the pic)

Hard to tell, are the little discolored bumps. If so when I had Motoros mine had them around the eyes just like yours appear to. The gradually went away as they grew and matured. As long as they are eating normally and the behavior doesn't change for the worse then don't worry.

because of the cresent shape, i want to say almost completely healed ray bite marks. my rays get crescent shaped marks when they bite each other.

is it possible to get a closer pic?

Didn't do any water parameter test. I just changed the water before the photo taken. It was cloudy due to some dead ghost shrimp. And it eats a lot, I see no problem. It prefer hunting the ghost shrimp rather than the blood worm. And... that's thin? I thought it's a little bulky after eating some ghost shrimp. After all, it can eat whenever it want.

Also, if you haven't, you can try to zoom in by opening the pic, I posted the large resolution and I don't think I can give a better shot than that one. Only got a simple 3M pixel camera :(

definitely looks like a healing/healed laceration of some sort to me...again though, if you could borrow someones camera and get in closer, it could help. how long has she had them?

it definitely is a bit thin. ghost shrimp actually have very little nutritional value. i would look into getting some chemical free earthworms and cut them into bite sized pieces. much more nutritious. also try market shrimp/prawn, fish filets like tilapia, cod, pollock, sole, etc. just make sure it's cut small enough for the ray to eat.

a healthy ray will have a bit of a J-Lo booty going on.
