not sure if im just :screwy: or if something is up.
last day or 2 he has been acting weird.
every once in a while he just stops and sits in one spot, not moving just breathing.
seems to be gasping for air and his gills flap open more.
not sure if its always been like that, dont remember. :screwy:
amm not great but not bad and just did a nice sized waterchange to help.
going to add salt now.
so does it look like he is gasping or breathing odd? :irked:

Every aro that I've ever had has done that occasionally. I'm not sure why, but they have.

looks perfectly normal to me. How long is that tank?

8 x 2 x 2 :D

Ya that looks like a normal aro to me, typical of both of my silvers now that they are larger. I think with the slower swimming they need to open their mouths to get more water flowing across the gills.

Check your water parameter especially the ammonia level in there. The barbels seen to spread wider than normal.... A sign telling you the water is not in the right condition.

hahahaha! "the barbels seem to spread wider than normal, a sign telling you the water is not in the right condition." what an observation, couple of hours watching your tanks perhaps?

respect, obey the barbels!

no jk, I know you are really good, but seriously I will tell that to the guy in my lfs some day.. (on the rare occation they would have an aro or anything else that is even moderatly interesting)
