I have recently bought 2 oscars.. a red oscar and a tiger oscar.. along with a jack dempsey..i have some rocks and plants in the tank b ut all the fish are huddled up together behind one of the rocks/plants.. whatsup with this?

If the fish are young they sometimes hide. It also might be helpful to get some dither fish to encourage the others out. I would try danios, they also make good snacks.
Well currently your fish are sulking. I t takes time so be patient. It is also normal so dont worry about it, before you know it they will be up and swimming. I also own some tiger Oscars so i came across the same problem
alright cool.. do you have yours with any other fish... Right now i have myen with a dempsey but they seem to get along really good.. can i help them feel more at home with any foods?
I got 2 Oscars and 1 JD and a Texas the first week or so they did that but know they all there own spots i would try some medium size dithers
