im not sure if im being over cautious or what
but its freaking me out
for the past few days one of my most active orinos has starting to show a horizontal stripe from his nose to his tail
and i was wondering if hes stressed, or something
but since monday ive been doing 50% waterchanges
kept water temp up to 87F and cut the nightly live feedings out and only feed them twice daily
is there anything to worry about or will he be fine

did you check all your water parameters?

not a tem..
it was an orino before wasnt it.
check your water.
if not,the dominant may be picking on it.
or it could just be a mood swing.

It's just stressed. My orinos are doing the same. For me, they've outgrown their current tank and I don't think the filtration can handle the bioload. As long as yours aren't stressed to the point where it won't eat, I wouldn't worry too much and would continue the water changes. BUT if its stressed from being bullied, you might need to change up the decor or separate them. Just my $0.02

Don't worry about it. When my orino were tiny, they would change from having spots to a stripe like a tem all the time.
Do a search and you can find pics of mine.

mine get like that all the time. it comes and goes. i wouldnt worry about it
