Is this normal?

I tried to search this topic and came up with no results, idk if I just don't know how to work the search or if I'm just slow.

Anyhow the question is,.. I have two ornate bichirs, and multiple senegals. The sens are all together in a 265g and they do fine with eachother. I put the ornates in a 55g for a grow out cause they are way smaller then the sens and they started biting eachothers tail. They don't do it constantly, its just here and there a few times a day. Normal? Should I seperate them?

It's normal. You need to add more bichirs to spread out the aggression and it will help stop that biting to each other.

Alright sounds good, I'm going to be getting a few delhezi's soon to add with the ornates, and when they all hit around 8" they'll go into the 265g with the rest.

Thanks all. Any good places online to get them. They are running close to 70 bucks a piece around here.
