Hi MFK
I recently started fish keeping and have started with a malawi cichlid tank .
11 cichlids 4 loaches and a plecko in 55 gallon .
I have finding my Pseudotropheus Acei poop being abnormally long and green in color ..
Please let me know if this is fine ?
Sorry the picture attached is not that clear as i am working on the lighting of my tank ..
Will update you guys with my tank setup and fishes as well

if you take a pic from an angle then you can avoid getting flash in the pic. what have you been feeding the acei ? is it swimming and feeding normally or are there any other symptoms as well ?

Whenever I feed my acei veggies they have green poop.

if they have high amounts of algae or sprulina in their diet, their feces can turn green.

I have been feeding a mixed diet of veggie flakes, cichlid staple and tetra bits ...
yes the feeding and behaviour is absolutely fine.

It's probably just from the veggie flakes. As long as it's eating and acting normal I wouldn't be worried.

Sounds like overfeeding and maybe even a dye used to color the vegataion green.
