i just recently bought a jardini and i have him in my planted tank (fake plants) and he swims around constantly which ive read is normal behavior for aros. but recently he discovered this hollow log in my aquarium and he tends to loaf around in there. most of the time he is out swimming but i would just like to make sure that i dont need to be concerned
is this normal?

how long is it spending at a time in there? what other stock is in the tank? fake plants doesnt make it a planted tank
he will sit in there for about 10 to 15 minutes and then go swim around for a while. hes the only fish in the tank
reason i brought up the plants part is cause people have said that theres no point in putting plants in with jars cause they tear em up
