Hey guys, i noticed that my asian arrowana ( RTG ) seems to rest at the bottom of the tank. Especially after being fed. Is this normal? or is there something wrong?

It might be because it had a really big meal but it's probably not a good thing. How long does it rest at the bottom? After my Jardini has a big meal it's always slow moving but it does not rest at the bottom.

How is your filtration? u might need some circulation in the tank. Try putting a powerhead in so the aro can swim against the current.

This does not look good. It looks VERY stressed. Try to find the culprit - as I don't think he will last long like this.

He is alone in the tank. I mentioned he does this after feeding and when i feed him i turn on the lights. I realised that when i turn it off he actually gets up. Could it be the lights then?

Yep. that always happens just dim the light then only turn the light on for food so they can see the light as actually a good thing.
