is this OK for a two foot aro for a few years

I bought a 8x3x2 tank about six months ago to put into my parents home were I am currently living however after seeing the size of it the freaked. I already have aro In a 5x2x2 and they have said to me I can have a bigger tank as long as its not longer so I was thinking of 5x3x2 will this b OK until I move out in a year or two

Should be ok, I guess. Also depends if it's a Silver or Jar/Asian.

Likewise, a better option would be if a friend of yours who you can trust could keep the fish for you for a few months before finally moving the Aro into the bigger tank.

Its a silver n none of my friends would have that kinda room all agro lol. I ain't for a problem getting the 5x3x2 cozy I can use it as a sump eventually and just the tank itself is only around 4 hundred.
