my flowerhorn kept on doing back flip in the water like every min ,is that normal?have this ever happend to any of you guys that own flowerhorn before?

you know mine does that too. i was wondering why but the water temperature is too high. after that it is ok. i had 3 heaters on a 100 gallon with all 3 @ 82 it was going crazy so i dropped it to like 77-78 its find now.

is there an object in the way... i had a red devil that did that only b/c he was avoiding something...

you should post a video up, i'd like to see a FH doing some gymnastics

i experienced the same... i think it due to things that the fish is not comfortable with.

Is he actually doing full back flips? The only thing I have seen that is "Normal" with that type of acting is a catfish. I have seen FH's and other fish swim with their faces up and backwards kinda hard...

lol yep a full back flip 360 degree around lol but i try to lower the heat down to 76 and it normal now lol.
