Is this Oscar a tiger or a red?

He's (or she) is labeled at the lfs as tiger oscar, he's so dull at the lfs that i thought he is really a tiger but when he's with me I noticed the HUGE color change and now I don't know if he's a red or a tiger he has this pattern in his back side of his body that I don't know if this exists in a red oscar. here are some pics.



and to make the "pattern" more noticeable I've taken some pics with the room lights off



I honestly don't care what type of O he is cuz I love him just the way he is lol just curious what really type of oscar he is. Can anyone help me?
